About Vivienne
My passion for biology grew from a fascination with how living organisms function and adapt. This led me to complete a B.Sc in Biological Sciences and later an M.Sc in Human Biology. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students toward deeper understanding by emphasizing clarity and connection.
I approach teaching with patience and encouragement. I take time to explain processes carefully, ensuring learners feel comfortable asking questions. By focusing on understanding rather than memorization, I help students build lasting confidence and independence.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with biological research and educational development. Teaching biology is deeply fulfilling because I see learners develop curiosity and confidence. Helping students understand life at both micro and macro levels is a privilege I value greatly.

Biology becomes easier to understand when students see how concepts connect across systems rather than memorizing isolated facts. My lessons focus on building clear understanding of cell biology, genetics, human physiology, ecology, and evolution. I use diagrams, comparisons, and structured explanation to help learners visualize processes such as cellular respiration, inheritance, and organ coordination. Each lesson encourages curiosity and thoughtful questioning.
Lesson structure adapts to learner needs. Beginners explore basic biological organization, cell structure, and simple processes. Intermediate learners develop understanding of genetic patterns, metabolic pathways, and system interactions. Advanced learners refine analytical skills, experimental interpretation, and exam-focused reasoning. Practice questions and guided explanation reinforce understanding at every stage.
Biology lessons also strengthen observation, patience, and scientific curiosity. Students gain confidence as they begin connecting topics naturally. My goal is to help learners approach biology as a logical, interconnected science rather than a subject of memorization.
