Teaching Method & Techniques I believe biology should be understood, not memorized. My method focuses on breaking complex ideas into clear, step-by-step explanations, using real-world examples from nature, health, and the environment to make concepts stick. I encourage active learning through questions, diagrams, and practice problems so students don’t just learn the material — they connect with it. A Typical Lesson Plan Warm-Up: Quick review of the last session or a short quiz to check understanding. Core Lesson: I introduce the topic using clear explanations, visuals, and analogies. Practice & Application: Students work through examples, diagrams, or problems with my guidance. Review & Recap: Key takeaways are summarized, and we set a mini-goal for the next lesson. Homework/Extra Practice: Tailored practice tasks to reinforce the lesson. What Sets Me Apart Studied Biology and Environmental Biology at Snow College, giving me a strong academic foundation.
