About Elena
I am a biologist and teacher of Biology and Geology, I am currently continuing my training to get a position as a secondary education teacher in the Community of Madrid.
I have teaching experience, especially in science, but I have also been (and still am) a student for many years, so my role here is not just to teach you, but to help you learn effectively.

Each student is unique, so each class is different. In the first class you can tell me what you are looking for so that I can adapt the classes to your needs.
However, for the preparation of the selectivity in Biology or Geology I have a specific methodology: first I give a review class on the subject and we do an exercise, I provide you with notes and EVAU exercises from other years related to that subject so that you can study autonomously , and we solve the exercises and the doubts of the subject in the following session.
A class at ESO level could have a different structure depending on the needs of the student and the subject in question.
For example, in English review classes I usually ask for vocabulary, grammar and the type of texts you are working on or are going to work on in a unit beforehand. With that information, I can propose exercises and activities that we will do in class to practice, study and get a mark in the exams. If you feel comfortable, we can speak to each other in English during the class, we start by reviewing the vocabulary and/or grammar, and later we work on it with a speaking, reading or writing exercise.
