Hello!
My name is Jenna, I am a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. I have a bachelor's degree in biological sciences as well as a minor in chemistry. I graduated with honors and was constantly helping my peers in my science classes. I am confident that I can help you as well!

My way of teaching is mainly through examples. Unlike actual teachers who mostly just use powerpoint presentations, I like to use a whiteboard with concrete examples. First, I go over an example myself, then I let the student do an example on their own to see if they get the concept. Doing this allows me to see any gaps of knowledge the student may have.
For example, if the student needs help with the DNA replication process, I would explain/draw out the steps myself, then have the student do it as well (with different base pairs of DNA so it wouldn't be exactly the same)
I am aiming to tutor high school students or undergraduates in biology, biochemistry, and/or microbiology.
