As a valedictorian with a 4.6 GPA and a scholarship recipient currently studying bioengineering in the Honors College at George Mason University, I understand what it takes to perform at a high level. My academic journey has taught me discipline, organization, and resilience, and I use those same qualities to help my students succeed in demanding courses.

I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps while making sure students truly understand the “why” behind what they are learning. I create an environment where questions are welcomed, mistakes are part of growth, and progress is consistently reinforced.

My teaching method centers on active learning. Rather than lecturing, I guide students through problems step by step, asking targeted questions to assess understanding and encourage critical thinking. I use visual explanations, real-world examples, and structured repetition to strengthen comprehension, especially in subjects like biology, chemistry, math, and engineering fundamentals. When working with students who struggle with test anxiety or organization, I also incorporate study strategies such as spaced repetition, practice testing, and structured review sheets.
