About
My name is Jasmin and I am a biochemistry graduate currently working during the day in the healthcare sector. I have tutored maths for the past 5 years and have helped many students to pass their GCSE maths exam.
I am relaxed and patient and aim to create a calm tutoring environment where my students feel comfortable with asking questions.
In my spare time I am quite creative and enjoy embroidery, crochet and reworking clothes. I am a big reader and I also love to cook and bake.

I have experience of tutoring maths to a wide range of ages and have tutored a number of students individually, helping them to pass their exams. As a tutor I am very calm and patient and am always happy to slow down and go at a pace you’re comfortable with. My lessons are 50 minutes long, done via zoom and I am happy to provide work for students to practice with outside of lessons.
My sessions are tailored to the individual student. My students can let me know which topics they find hard and we will work through the topics at a slow pace, allowing the student to figure out which area they struggle with the most. I like to include a mix of exam questions after going through a topic, allowing practice at exam technique. Some students may prefer the session to be mainly exam technique, whereas others want to spend more type discussing concepts, which is absolutely fine! I am also happy to do short term tutoring for those who are just looking for one or two sessions.
I have learnt a large number of revision techniques over the years I have spent studying and I am very happy to share them with students. I also have the experience of taking GCSEs, A-levels and applying for university so I have plenty of tips which I can share and am happy to answer any questions. I have first hand experience of exam anxiety so I hope I can share some tips and make my students feel confident and ready for exams.
