About Eoghan
I actually enjoy teaching, although online it is less of a formal lesson and more of a discussion. I have a passion for my subject and I love to share it.
I have also worked as an exam marker with the SQA up to Higher (Lower 6th) so I have real insight into how exams are marked

Within Zoom I can share PowerPoints, illustrations that explain a point and relevant videos as well as molymod models of molecules. Sessions would be about 50 mins and start on the hour with me writing up feedback immediately after the session.
I will look at past papers as well as teach but the focus is on discussing the knowledge being tested and exam technique.
As a teacher I started in England teaching A-Level Biology before moving back to Scotland running my own department in a small school in the Outer Hebrides. I tutor both Biology and Chemistry to A-Level and am most familiar with the AQA syllabus at GCSE and OCR at A-Level and of course the SQA board in Scotland.
If I had to describe my teaching it would be "the Socratic method" of discussion
