About Sean
I am not a traditional student or teacher, but have been one or the other most of my adult life at least part time and K-12 before that. I thought about quitting HS when I was 16, but decided the path of least resistance was to cooperate and graduate. Then I dropped out of college after a challenging but satisfying first semester. Returning four years later I had serious academic difficulties. Returning to college another three years later, after Army service, and not without some struggle, I graduated with a B.A. in Biological sciences at age 33. Continuing to study, I tutored and taught at HS and college levels, and earned an M.S in Biotechnology. I have since unsuccessfully pursued a degree in medicine, and now plan to go back to school again but am not sure in what area I will study.
