About Chloe
Hi I'm Chloe, a 2024 Baulkham Hills High School graduate. Having finished the HSC and being able to focus on my other interests again, I am excited to begin tutoring students again, helping individuals develop and grow to not only excel, but feel confident in their abilities.
As a first generation immigrant from Vietnam, I understand how challenging it may be to not only be learning new content, but doing it in a foreign environment with limited parental support due to the language and cultural barriers. Although I am not a fluent, native speaker, I am proficient enough in Vietnamese to provide additional support to help ease the transition into Australian schooling. I have worked with Vietnamese families in the past, and they have all found my capacity to speak Vietnamese a great benefit in helping them feel more connected and involved in their child's learning.
I also have two younger sisters who are at the beginning of their education careers and due to frequently helping them with homework and further learning, I am also proficient at engaging with younger minds to help them grasp the foundational concepts that are vital to their long term growth and development.

WHAT I OFFER:
Tutoring for students who are looking:
- to reinforce their understanding of specific concepts that they may be struggling with
- to supplement their ongoing learning at school with additional support such as extra practice questions and targeted support
- for homework help
- for help on projects/assignments, which includes concept mapping, developing the assignment, and polishing for submission
- for last minute marking before submitting projects/assignments
PRIMARY SCHOOL SPECIFIC:
I have 3 years of prior experience in tutoring primary school students (English and Maths), alongside preparations for O. C. and Selective admissions exams.Although it has been a while since I have personally sat the exam, my resources and overall knowledge is largely transferrable regardless of how long it has been. I will provide students with organised revision schedules and learning materials to guide their progress in time for the O. C. and Selective Exams.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Although I have not yet had the opportunity to tutor high schoolers, I believe that my prior experience with primary school students alongside my recent high school experience allows me to adapt and provide an enjoyable, comprehensive, accessible learning experience in an engaging manner. I have retained a large majority of my resources from across my high school journey. The subjects I chose to study for my HSC are: english advanced, english extension 1, english extension 2, mathematics advanced, legal studies, business studies, economics.

- $55/hr; in person (Bankstown, Parramatta, and surrounding areas at the local library)
- $45; one off assignment marking
