About Scarlett
I am a native Mandarin speaker, born and raised in China, with a Grade A Level 1 Mandarin Proficiency Certificate. Having studied in the UK since 2018 and now continuing my studies in Australia, I have grown up in both Chinese and English language environments. This background allows me to support learners with a clear understanding of both languages and cultures. Previously, I worked as an online Mandarin teacher at Spark Education for 3 years, where I taught children aged 3–12 in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Currently, I am studying Early Childhood Teaching at RMIT University in Melbourne, which gives me strong professional skills and experience in language education. Whether online or in-person, I create engaging and structured lessons to help learners of all ages build confidence and enjoy learning Chinese.

My Approach to Tutoring I believe learning Mandarin should be enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful. My teaching style combines practical communication skills with cultural knowledge, so students not only learn the language but also understand the traditions, stories, and everyday contexts behind it.
