¡Hola! I’m a Spanish teacher from Puerto Rico, and I’ve been living in Texas for about 10 years. I love sharing my language and culture through fun, engaging lessons that connect students to the real world. I believe learning a second language, (in this case) English or Spanish helps students become lifelong learners and global thinkers, ready to explore the world with curiosity and confidence.

About the lesson

A typical lesson starts with something engaging to capture the student’s attention—like a funny meme or a quick question in Spanish or English to review previous material. Then we move into listening and reading activities, followed by short discussions or writing practice.

We finish with an interactive speaking activity, once the student has heard the correct pronunciation, practiced vocabulary, and built confidence.

This approach helps them feel prepared and relaxed when speaking Spanish or English.
