About VICTOR
*The goal here is to teach kids that live in Brasil and want a bilingual education, or kids that want to learn portuguese to come to a brazilian school.
Informal and personalized: I explain in a more informal way, so that the student understands better. I always try to get to know the student a little so they can find examples close to their daily life and interests.
General class structure: Whenever possible, I review the previous class, minister the current subject and start activities right after learning, guaranteeing and supervising the fixation of the content (some classes may require a greater explanation, or a longer time for activities , leaving the rest for the student to do alone after class, in the case of teenagers and adults).
Children: For children, I minister a content that's more fun (more videos, cartoons, playful activities, etc.) and dynamic (children have a shorter focus period).
For teenagers and adults, I adopt the standard structure mentioned above. Focus on the student's dificulties, but also reinforce the strengths to generate confidence and ensure that they keep the content fresh in mind.
I also teach english and music (guitar, both acoustic and electric, with focus on fingerstyle)

I studied Social Sciences, which also gave me a knowledge in Pedagogy. Then, I studied a little of Psychology (self-taught) which added knowledge in terms of didactics. I have experience with tutoring, ministering english classes (private - individual and group) and music (electric and acoustic guitar, music theory and musicalization; fingerstyle).
In all classes, I always try to adapt to meet the student's interest. I adjust the lecture format according to the demands of the class so that there is maximum use, and I correct the course whenever necessary and convenient.
