About Patricia
Sometimes I worry that my lessons are too focused on the mechanics of speech rather than the joy of language. Yet, my students seem to value this deep attention to the structural details of French. We spend time on listening practice and specific cultural contexts to ground your vocabulary.
I have spent 13 years refining these techniques for working professionals and curious beginners. You will find that these sessions move at a pace that respects your time while building your confidence. We do not just recite lists, as we apply grammar to real life scenarios.

Thirteen years ago, I started tutoring because I struggled to explain simple grammar to my own family members. It was a humbling realization that knowing a language is different from teaching it. Since then, I have developed methods to navigate the bilingual landscape across Canada.
