About Nallely

I was born in Mexico and came to the US when I was 6 years old. I immediately emerged myself into the education system and quickly learned English. As a first generation English learner I often translated for my parents. Whether it was documents or phone calls, I always was called to translate. By the age of 10 I was translating at a local food pantry for families in need whose primary language was Spanish. I did this until I graduated high school. I currently work in healthcare where I've seen how language barriers can be very challenging when communicating vital information. My goal is to break these language barriers and share my knowledge with those who are willing to learn.

About the lesson

Realistic conversational teaching approach. Many times what we learn in Spanish isn't always the way us native Spanish speakers use the language. Of course we will explore the proper terms, but we will definitely incorporate and dive into the forms we use Spanish. We will dive into the difference in cultures and language uses throughout Latin America. Hope to speak with you soon!
