About Abri
I am a qualified chartered accountant currently working at a Big 4 firm in London, with a background in accounting, audit, technology and change management.
My interest in accounting started at school, where I quickly realised that I enjoyed the logic, structure and problem-solving behind the subject. That interest led me to study accounting at the University of Cape Town, where I completed both my undergraduate degree and honours degree before moving to London to complete my articles at a Big 4 firm.
Alongside my technical accounting and audit experience, I have a strong interest in teaching, facilitation and helping others develop. I have formal training in facilitation and learning, and I regularly apply this in my corporate role when supporting and teaching young professionals.
Today, I work in technology and change management within the audit space, which gives me a broad view of where the accounting profession is heading. I regularly work with senior stakeholders, including COOs and executives, and I enjoy showing students how accounting can open doors beyond traditional finance roles.
I am passionate about making accounting feel clear, practical and relevant. I try to create a friendly, engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

My lessons are practical, structured and tailored to the way you learn.
I help students and young professionals build a strong understanding of accounting rather than simply memorising rules. Whether you are struggling with the basics or preparing for more advanced topics, I break concepts down clearly and connect them to real-world examples from my experience as a qualified chartered accountant at a Big 4 firm.
I can support you with financial accounting, IFRS, audit, management accounting, corporate governance, exam preparation, assignment support, technical questions and professional development. I also have formal training in facilitation and learning, so my lessons are designed to be interactive, focused and confidence-building.
A typical lesson may include:
• identifying the areas you find most difficult
• explaining the topic step by step
• working through examples together
• practising exam-style or assignment-style questions
• giving you clear next steps after the session
My goal is to make accounting feel less intimidating and more logical. I adapt my teaching style to your level, whether you are a school student, university student, accounting trainee or young professional.
