I am Sri Durga, a classical Bharatanatyam artist and educator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and advanced, specialized training in the ancient Karanas. My passion lies in preserving and sharing the profound depth of this art. As an award-winning performer, I am dedicated to guiding students beyond mere technique, helping them embody the sculptural grace and dynamic energy that defines authentic Bharatanatyam. Under the guidance of Sri Durga, a BFA-qualified and award-winning artist, my teaching blends rigorous technical training with profound artistic expression. Each class systematically progresses from foundational adavus to complex compositions, emphasizing both rhythmic precision (Nritta) and emotive storytelling (Abhinaya). My unique approach, informed by advanced training in Karanas, ensures students develop grace, strength, and a deep understanding of the art form.
