About Daniela
I have 9 years of experience playing trumpet in concert bands, brass ensembles, orchestras, musicals, Jazz Big bands, and small groups, and especially solo work. I am a student who had private lessons throughout my entire trumpet journey so far, so I understand the importance of having someone there to guide you and make sure you are using proper technique. Although I'm still a student, I am confident I can help you grow as a trumpet player and musician.

These lessons are for beginners- intermediate players who have hit a wall with their progress. I can help you learn new concepts, solidify your technique, or cover anything you want to learn.
I want to know where you want to go with your trumpet playing. Once we figure out what you want to learn and what you already know, the lesson will start. In the first part of the lesson, we’ll be going over any previously assigned material. I’ll coach you through how you can make it sound better today, guiding you through basic phrasing practices. After that, we will begin talking about technique and trumpet theory; depending on your level and goals, I can expand greatly on your music theory knowledge as well.
I'm a tutor who really likes explaining the "why" behind why we do things. When you understand why certain exercises are given and how they will help your playing, it can encourage you to practice them better, even if you find them boring. I believe in creating good habits from the beginning, so you will find I put a lot of focus into fundamental training. The trumpet is a very versatile instrument that plays almost every genre of music. I want to know what you want out of your trumpet playing, and help you play music that you like to play with a solid and healthy foundation.

Perfect! Daniela was very patient and knowledgeable. She worked with my son who is in 7th grade. I definitely recommend Daniela as a trumpet tutor.
