About Joseph
After attending Berklee College of Music for Jazz Guitar, I started my current job teaching at the acclaimed Boston School of Music Arts in Dorchester, MA. I have had prior teaching experience as well with private students. I'm very passionate about music and learning.

I approach teaching by connecting students to the joy of music as a primary focus, especially for beginners. We spend most of the lesson learning actual music that the student loves and inspires them to pick up the guitar, without bogging them down with dull exercises. Other aspects of music are also covered such as reading, scales ect.. but in a way that is relevant and fresh.
