About Bobby
I want to help students achieve their potential and I believe that tutoring them is the best way to do so. I want to give them the opportunity to be the pioneers of the future. I have an approachable teaching style where I try to get students to engage with what they're learning. My intention is to create a positive learning experience for students where curiosity is encouraged. I also want students to fine-tune the skills derived from understanding through practice and feedback. While I haven't been a teacher or a tutor, I was a peer student mentor at Kingston University, where I did my undergraduate degree in Media & Communication with Business. As a second-year student, I helped the first-year students with creating an essay plan, creating a bibliography, and creating a structure for their essay. I also taught them how to look for academic sources when writing an essay. I may not have had professional teaching or tutoring experience, but I would like to use this as an opportunity to help students in their field. This includes all sorts of students, especially those who struggle with their academics. I want to guide them so that they can do better in their studies, but also so that they can realise their potential. In the time I have known Bobby, he has always demonstrated exceptional reliability and ambition. He has had several roles in leadership before, such as being a student mentor and the secretary for the drama society at his previous university where he has shown that he is an extremely responsible and organised person who takes his work seriously and has the skills to be an excellent tutor.
