About Me: Hello, I'm Tiyana I'm 14-years-old. I am passionate about teaching. I have 2 months of experience in tutoring. I am known for my ability to keep people interested in topics. I make learning fun for kindergartners to 8th graders. I connect with each student personally and create an inclusive environment for learning. I also ensure that lessons are relatable to everyday life to make learning more engaging. As a younger teen, I know that sometimes even with games learning can be boring, especially in reading so getting to know the people I tutor and finding out what they like and what truly interests them is a part of my tactic to get them to enjoy learning. I also do group teaching on Wednesdays and Fridays which is where I take my appointments and split them into two or more groups based on grade level. Pricing for these lessons is subject to change depending on the size of the group (E.x A larger group would get a discounted price)

Details
I charge 18/$ and only tutor during business hours (9-5) and on the weekends. Text me if these times don't work for you and your family we can work something out. If doing multiple children at once (E.X Siblings / Friends) I charge 2 dollars more per hour per child (This does not apply to group teachings) I will have a Zoom meetup link which will be given to you through text and email 10 minutes before the meeting. Please do not set multiple appointments for your children unless they are in different grade levels. Leave their name, age, and grade level and tips that you think would be helpful to their learning experience. Currently, I do not tutor special education students. I am still fresh as a tutor and currently do not think I am ready to handle special education students. I am not discriminating against your child for having special needs. I am just saying that I am not prepared to meet your child's needs at this stage of my tutoring career.
