About Tommy
As a dedicated music educator, I aim to make piano lessons both effective and enjoyable for my students. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music, which equips me with extensive knowledge and skills in both theory and performance. I have taught learners of all levels and ages, from beginners to advanced students preparing for exams or concerts. My lessons are student-centred and personalised, combining structure with creativity. I use real-life examples and case studies to make rhythm, melody, and harmony easy to grasp and relatable. Motivation is key, and I encourage students to set goals, track progress, and celebrate achievements. Problem-solving is a central part of my teaching, helping students analyse challenges and develop critical thinking skills. I emphasise integrity, creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where students can experiment and grow. I am flexible, tailoring lessons to each student’s pace, skill level, and personal goals. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and composition to provide a comprehensive music education. I prepare students for exams, performances, and competitions while fostering confidence, discipline, and creativity. Lessons are available online or in-person. I focus on technical skill, musical expression, and building a lifelong love of music. Each lesson is engaging, structured, and motivating. My ultimate goal is to develop confident, expressive, and skilled musicians.

In addition to piano, I teach related subjects like music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and composition. Lessons can be conducted online or in-person for children, teens, and adults. My ultimate aim is to help students play with confidence, musicality, and creativity, while enjoying every step of their learning journey.
