About Aravinda
I am a competitive chess player with a USCF rating of around 1900 and years of tournament experience. I take chess seriously and approach teaching in a structured, respectful, and patient way. I prepare for each lesson in advance and focus on helping students make real progress, whether they are beginners or players working toward competition. I teach chess with a structured yet friendly approach that emphasizes understanding, not memorization. My lessons are ideal for students who want to increase their rating, enter tournaments, or just become stronger strategic thinkers. What sets me apart is that I teach from a competitive player’s point of view, using real chess logic and practical training methods that actually help in real games.
