About Teng Hui
Hi! I'm a native Mandarin speaker with a clear and standard accent, passionate about helping others learn this beautiful and useful language. Although I am new to tutoring, I bring a genuine love for language and communication, along with a patient and encouraging approach to teaching. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where students can build confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding Mandarin—at their own pace. Whether you're starting from zero or looking to strengthen your foundation, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. All of my classes are conducted online, offering flexibility and convenience to fit into your schedule. I’m friendly, reliable, and committed to helping each student succeed. As a native Mandarin speaker, my goal is to make learning the language enjoyable, practical, and approachable—especially for beginners. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building confidence through conversation and real-life examples.
I use a mix of interactive techniques such as:
Simple dialogues and role-playing
Basic vocabulary and sentence-building
Listening and pronunciation practice
Fun quizzes and visual aids (like pictures and slides)
Each class is usually 60 minutes, but I can adjust the timing based on your preference or age group—shorter sessions for young kids, for example.
While I may not have formal teaching experience, I speak Mandarin daily and love helping others learn it in a supportive and relaxed environment.
