About Abby
I’m on this platform because I absolutely love knitting. I’ve always found myself offering to teach friends and family, but I haven’t had many takers—so I’m excited to share that passion here instead.
Knitting has brought a lot of value into my life. It’s meditative, practical, and genuinely fun, and I love the idea of passing that on to other people in a way that makes it feel accessible and rewarding from the start.
Outside of knitting, I’m interested in gardening and agriculture, rock climbing, painting, and science. And my guilty pleasure is definitely reality TV.

I teach students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to more advanced knitters. For in-person lessons, I can bring all necessary materials so you can simply focus on learning and creating.
My teaching style is hands-on and project-based. Instead of spending weeks on isolated exercises, we start building real pieces right away—learning techniques as we need them in the context of your project.
I believe the best way to learn knitting is by doing. If your goal is to make something ambitious like a sweater, we can start working toward that from the beginning, breaking it into manageable steps so you build skills while you create something you’re proud of.
