About Tyrone
Welcome, and thank you for considering me as your tutor.
I am a professional and dedicated educator with experience supporting Foundation Phase and Intermediate Phase learners. My lessons are well-structured, learner-centered, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where learners feel confident to ask questions and engage meaningfully with their work.
I am proficient in English and Afrikaans, allowing me to teach in the language most comfortable for the learner. Each lesson includes clear explanations, guided practice, and constructive feedback, with content adapted to the learner’s pace and academic needs.
I am committed to maintaining high professional standards and supporting learners in developing confidence, independence, and academic success.

My approach to private tutoring is grounded in learner-centered pedagogy and differentiated instruction.
