About Rotondwa
Hello, I’m Ro — a dedicated and results-driven tutor with over three years of teaching and tutoring experience. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Organizational and Industrial Psychology, along with a Level 5 TEFL Diploma, which is equivalent to a CELTA qualification. My academic background, combined with my practical teaching experience, allows me to deliver lessons that are both structured and highly effective.
I have worked with students of all ages and levels, from school learners to adults, helping them improve in English, Math, and Business Studies. I also specialize in Business English and IELTS preparation, supporting students in achieving their academic and professional goals. My experience across different teaching platforms and one-to-one tutoring has strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to each student’s needs.

My approach to private tutoring is student-centred, structured, and results-driven. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual needs, goals, and learning styles. I create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
I use a communicative and practical teaching methodology, focusing on real-life application rather than just theory. My lessons combine vocabulary building, grammar, speaking, and problem-solving, with interactive activities that keep students engaged. What makes me unique is my ability to connect with students easily while still maintaining a high standard of structure and professionalism. I also bring in my Human Resources background, which allows me to teach Business English with real workplace relevance.
I am proficient in English and teach exclusively in English, which helps students immerse themselves fully and improve faster.
In a typical lesson, students can expect a clear structure that includes a warm-up, targeted vocabulary or concepts, guided practice, and interactive activities such as discussions, role plays, or problem-solving tasks. I provide continuous feedback, correct mistakes constructively, and ensure that each lesson has clear outcomes. I also adapt lessons in real time depending on the student’s progress.
My lessons are suitable for a wide range of students, including school learners, university students, and adults. I teach English (general, business, and exam preparation such as IELTS), as well as Maths and Business Studies. I work with beginners to more advanced learners and particularly enjoy helping students improve their confidence, communication skills, and academic performance.
