About Gerhard
Hi there! I’m a passionate and professional Economics teacher currently teaching at Rondebosch Boys' High School. I hold a BCom in Economic Sciences (with International Trade), a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, and a PGCE in Senior and FET Phase Education, all completed through NWU. I’ve built my teaching career on making Economics, EMS, and Business Studies both understandable and enjoyable for high school learners. I bring energy and clarity to my lessons, and I take pride in helping students feel confident in their abilities. Whether you're working towards exam success or just need some extra support, you can expect professional, structured, and engaging lessons that are tailored to your needs. I’m here to help you reach your full potential — in a way that makes learning feel less like a chore, and more like something you can genuinely enjoy. I teach in both English and Afrikaans, and I work best with Grade 8–12 learners who are ready to grow. I look forward to working with you!

As a qualified Economics teacher with a BCom in Economic Sciences (with International Trade), a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, and a PGCE from NWU, I bring both academic depth and real-world relevance to every lesson. Lessons are available in both English and Afrikaans, and I adapt my teaching to suit each student’s learning pace and preferred style. My tutoring is best suited for Grade 8–12 learners, especially those preparing for tests, exams, or needing extra academic support in EMS, Economics, or Business Studies.
