About Jacob
I have been playing the trombone since the 6th grade. Now being in college that makes 9 years of experience. I have worked with numerus professional musicians and colleges professors. I have also been apart of many high level ensembles such as the UWG Wind Ensemble. I specialize in Bass Trombone but, I am prepared to teach tenor players as well.

We will start with an assessment of the players skill, not to judge but to see what we can best spend time on working. We want to be as safe as possible. I would rather something happen more slowly than the student get hurt overdoing it. I use a more laid back teaching style. I want the student to get better but it has to be at your own pace. I can't force a student to get better, but I will do my best to make sure the student meets their goals.
