About Ben
Having completed a Bachelor of Music at the Academy of Contemporary Music in London (ACM) I have been giving bass and music theory lessons for almost 10 years whilst maintaining a career as a session musician.
Between 2009 and 2020 I performed on stage as a bass player in a professional setting between 50 and 100 times a year, whether in concert halls, weddings, festivals, TV shows, and more.
Session bassist for various international ensembles or artists including legendary guitarist Albert Lee (Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, Everly Brothers, The Crickets) with whom I had the pleasure of playing more than 150 gigs with between 2018-2020. A notable performance in the region would be the "Guitare en Scène" festival in 2019 with Albert as one half of the closing day's performers, the other being no other than Mark Knopfler.

My lessons are open to all levels, whether it's someone who has just purchased their first instrument or a music graduate with years of experience.
I always look for the ideal method for each of my students. We are all individuals, therefore there is not one method to suit everyone. For some this can mean a very relaxed approach and for others a more disciplined one. It often ends up being a mix of the two in order to fulfill everyone's individual goals and ambitions.
