About Bence
I am a certified computer engineer with several years of experience in university teaching, research, and industry. I have supervised numerous successful term papers and theses, participated in thesis reviews, conducted exams, led projects, and designed and developed complex systems. I have recently started teaching again because, quite simply, I love teaching.
When teaching, the most important thing for me is that the student truly understands the material and doesn’t just “scrape by” on an exam (though there have been instances of that, and we can work on that too...)
I love getting questions, brainstorming together, and explaining a topic until everything really clicks.
There are no dumb students, only poorly explained material.
There are no bad questions, only the ones we don’t ask.
My classes have a calm, friendly atmosphere where it’s totally okay to make mistakes—in fact, it’s expected, because that’s how we learn the most.

The goal of the lessons is to make the material understandable, logical, and practical, whether we’re focusing on building a foundation or preparing for an exam.
We work in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, and I always tailor the pace and method of learning to the student. We don’t just memorize; we understand, ask questions, and think in terms of connections.
I primarily offer private lessons and tutoring to high school and college students, but I’m happy to work with anyone.
For my online classes, I use my own JupyterHub server, which makes collaborative online coding a breeze.
Incidentally, this is practically the industry standard for collaboration. For those interested, I’m happy to demonstrate not only the basics of Python but also how to use similar platforms and tools.
