About ARTIS
I am a practising barrister with over 15 years’ experience and a long-standing commitment to teaching and mentoring law students and junior lawyers. I work with undergraduate LLB and Master’s students (LLM/MA) and those studying the BPTC/BTC and LPC.
I help LPC and BPTC/BTC students develop confidence in advocacy, oral assessments and professional skills. I also provide academic tuition in Family Law, assisting undergraduate and postgraduate students with understanding key principles, analysing cases and preparing for coursework and exams. I teach because I believe that with the right support and practical training, students can perform at their best and approach assessments and interviews with confidence rather than anxiety.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and level, whether you are studying LLB undergraduate law, LPC, or BPTC/BTC. For Family Law and undergraduate law students, sessions typically focus on building a clear understanding of legal principles and applying them confidently in exams and coursework. This may include discussion of key cases and statutes, working through problem questions, developing structured essay answers, and strengthening legal analysis. For students on vocational courses, lessons may include advocacy exercises, mock assessments, preparation for pupillage or training contract interviews, and practical courtroom skills. Sessions are interactive and supportive. We will work through legal problems together, develop clear and persuasive arguments, and focus on the techniques needed to perform well in both written and oral assessments. My aim is to help students build confidence, clarity of thought, and strong legal reasoning so they can approach their studies and assessments with assurance.
