About Shireen
I am a Degree Apprentice at Barclays, currently studying Applied Retail and Commercial Banking at the University of Exeter, with previous experience tutoring 11+ students at SDE. I provide personalised, engaging online tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals.
Having recently completed A-Levels in Maths, Economics, and Politics, I am particularly passionate about these subjects and enjoy helping students build both confidence and strong exam technique by using effective revision strategies.

Offering 1-hour Economics lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, focused on building confidence, improving exam technique, and making Economics engaging and easy to understand. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style, using structured notes, discussion, and exam practice to develop knowledge, essay-writing, and evaluation skills, with a strong focus on what exam boards look for in top-mark answers.
Having recently completed A-Level Economics and currently undertaking a Banking Degree Apprenticeship with Barclays, I have an up-to-date understanding of course content, revision strategies, and the exam techniques needed to succeed!
