I have trained in dance since I was 5 (ballet, modern and contemporary) and am now a professional dancer. I have been a ballet teacher in Switzerland and Santa Barbara and I am currently teaching and performing in the Bay Area.
The classes I offer vary from what your needs are and the location (studio or home) of the class.
If we rent a studio for your class, we would probably start with a warm up on the floor, which is followed by exercises at the barre, and end with exercices in the center.
If we work in your home with limited space, what I offer isn't a traditional ballet class but:
- exercises to build strength and flexibility
- ballet exercises that space and flooring allow
- tips on technique
- help with vocabulary as I speak French
- and more according to your needs

Perfect! We had a wonderful experience with Lena. She was very kind, patient, and professional. In one lesson, she was able to clearly identify exactly what my daughter needed to work on. It was clear she is very knowledgeable and attentive as an instructor. We truly appreciated her time and expertise and would happily work with her again in the future.
Perfect! Ms. Léna has been a wonderful influence & ballet instructor for our daughter. She is extremely knowledgable, patient, & kind. Our student has ADHD and Ms. Léna helped us to identify techniques to improve her ballet skills, but also her ability to pick up choreography & combinations in the very first class. She has been such a calming & inspirational voice for our student during a fairly trying time for our young dancer. We have seen a LOT of improvement in the weeks we've spent with Ms. Léna & look forward to continuing to work with her. Truly a lovely dancer & teacher.

Perfect! Lena was very professional, nice, and experienced. She observed where my daughter does well and not so well. Lena corrected my daughter’s postures, arms, and alignment. It was a great lesson! We surely will have more lessons with Lena.
