About Camila
I am a dedicated healthcare and research professional with a strong academic foundation in science, leadership, and clinical operations. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emmanuel College with a B.S. in Health Science and a minor in Data Analytics, maintaining a 3.7 GPA. My academic work included an independent thesis conducted in collaboration with researchers at Harvard Medical School focused on developmental genetics and molecular biology.
Professionally, I currently serve as a Project Manager in clinical trial startup operations after progressing through multiple research and clinical coordination roles in the healthcare industry. My experience includes clinical research coordination, protocol development, patient-facing operations, and collaboration with sponsors on Phase 2 and 3 neuropsychiatric clinical trials. I have also contributed to research initiatives at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Merck Research Laboratories.
As a former pre-medical student who completed the rigorous prerequisites for medical school, I understand the discipline and resilience required to succeed in demanding academic environments.
