About Chloe
I hold a degree in Computer Science and have taught Python for 5 years. I began tutoring beginners but soon expanded to guiding university students and professionals. I enjoy blending coding with science, particularly in areas like bioinformatics and chemical modelling. My students often work on creative projects that help them apply both technical and scientific thinking. My approach is calm and encouraging. I help students overcome fear of coding and replace it with curiosity. My lessons in Python are tailored to make programming less intimidating. I begin with the basics—variables, loops, and functions—before guiding students into practical applications like data analysis and automation. I emphasise problem-based learning, where every concept is tied to a hands-on exercise. For example, students may learn loops by writing a DNA sequence checker, or functions by modelling a chemical formula. These exercises make coding meaningful and memorable. I also provide practice projects that combine creativity and coding. By working on real-world problems, learners discover how Python can be applied to multiple fields, including biology and chemistry.
