About Nouhad
Hey! My name is Nouhad Issa and I am undertaking a Bachelor of Secondary Education at Australian Catholic University. My goal within teaching is to showcase that students possess greater worth than what they are conditioned to believe.
As a former student myself, I progressed through the schooling system devoid of satisfaction. I was regularly unappreciated for the capabilities that came naturally to me which made the stigma of being just another 'statistic' weigh heavily on my shoulders. As a result, I soon realised that students required a role model rather than an 'educator'. Since that point, I have fallen in love with teaching and can ensure that through positive relationships; a student's ability can truly prosper.
Sometimes, a student just needs that 'spark' to understand the importance of schooling. Thus, through my student-centered pedagogy, I can say with absolute certainty that I can be that spark for any type of student.

My philosophy of teaching is contingent upon the idea of building rapport and well-being with all students. I thrive in establishing personal connections through an engaging pedagogy.
Lessons are typically expected to range from 55 minutes to an hour. However, my goal is to ensure that all students are capable of saying they've learned something new before leaving the lesson.
My experience within the tutoring industry itself is minimal, but I had commonly lectured younger students on the ideas of philosophy and social sciences during school clubs.
My lessons focus on secondary students (7-12).
