About Martin
Hello! My name is Martin, but my friends call me Marty, and I bring 15+ years of experience in both academic research and professional programming. My journey began as web developer out of high-school. I returned to school, eventually becoming a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta's AI lab, where I gained hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and developed state of the art machine learning and data analysis technology. Since then, I've worked in the industry as a programmer, tackling real-world challenges, have been assigned three patents for computer vision systems, and generally honing a versatile skill set.
I’m deeply committed to helping students not only understand their course material but also build the confidence they need to excel. My approach is rooted in professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for seeing others succeed. Each lesson is tailored to meet individual learning goals, ensuring that every session is both effective and engaging.
