About Aye
I have a diverse academic background in botany, neuroscience, economics, and biotechnology, currently pursuing a Master in Creative Enterprise & Innovation. This makes me very open minded and approachable, with years of experience tutoring my five siblings and their friends. I can make complex concepts more engaging by tailoring individual needs, ensuring students of all levels feel confident and supported in their learning journey. I do this mainly through storytelling and real-life experiences, making lessons relatable for the student and fostering a deeper understanding. By connecting learning to the students' interests and point of view, learning becomes less daunting and more fun. Additionally, I believe in guiding students to discover answers themselves rather than showing them directly, which empowers them to become independent problem-solvers. The dopamine and rush of concepts clicking and learning new things can be addictive. Its important to recognise the students efforts to get there every step of the way
