About Omolara
I’m a university student who is passionate about helping others understand things that once felt difficult or overwhelming. I know what it feels like to struggle with learning something and not feel confident speaking up, which is why I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for my students. I want to teach because I believe every student deserves to feel confident in their ability to learn, especially in subjects like math, algebra, and algorithms that many people find intimidating. I don’t just want students to memorize formulas, I want them to actually understand how things work so they can solve problems independently and feel proud of themselves.

Hi, my name is Omolara but you can call Lara. I enjoy teaching mathematics and English. My approach to teaching is by simplifying math so students actually understand it, not just memorize it. I find out where the student is struggling and also identify gaps e.g., weak basics in fractions. I explain topics in simple language, use real-life examples, work through solving questions together, and also allow students to work on their own.
