About Leslie
Do you want to master bowing technique, classical repertoire, vibrato, shifting positions, music theory, tone production, and tuning by ear? Having taught 253 students across my 13 years of experience, I meet you exactly where you stand today. My training at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal allows me to break down complex movements into manageable steps. I truly enjoy seeing people connect with their instrument.

Students gain confidence. Through my Bachelor of Music training, I prioritize the physical mechanics of bowing technique and the nuances of classical repertoire to ensure your posture remains fluid. We address vibrato and shifting positions as foundational elements of your sound before moving into music theory and tuning by ear to build your comprehensive musicianship. I maintain an encouraging environment where questions are welcomed while we explore the instrument at a steady pace, and I promise to remain patient as we navigate the music together.
