About Michaela
I have always loved literature and pursued it throughout my life in different areas. I studied the classics of Shakespeare and ancient greek theatre, much of poetry ranging from the romantics, the beat poets, and finally the more contemporary post-2000s poets, and I am also well versed in the classic and contemporary prose. I have personally used by literary knowledge to a practical benefit in script writing, most recently finishing the script for a feature film I will be directing and producing soon, as well in writing my novel which is still currently in the works. I was inspired by the great teachers who molded me into who I am today and I hope to inspire the same love for literature in my students as they inspired in me, therefore allowing students to not only excel in school, but develop a long lasting love for the subject. I have tutored students from around the world, originally starting my work in Jordan while branching out to Canada, the united states and UK.

I work on a personal level, creating a bond with the student which encourages a love for the subject that will propel their education further. I have worked with people who struggle with ADHD and dyslexia in past which has allowed me to gain a greater understanding of helping children with difficulties understand and love the subject in a way that fits with them. I try my best to create an encouraging, open environment which allows students the space to learn in a way that is tailored to their needs and preferences. I typically work online, however for the first meeting and upon request i will also provide in person tutoring sessions. I tutor children aged 5-16 for primary and secondary school.
