About Korie
I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and completed extensive upper-division coursework in mathematics before shifting majors. My academic background allows me to approach tutoring with both analytical precision and an understanding of how students learn and process information.
I am patient, structured, and focused on building independent thinking skills rather than short-term memorization. I take pride in preparing thoughtfully for each session and creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges at their own pace.

My lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on true understanding. I ask students or parents to share the specific topics, assignments, or areas of difficulty in advance so I can prepare targeted guidance for each session.
During lessons, we break down concepts step by step, focusing on understanding the logic behind the process rather than memorizing procedures. I guide students through examples, then support them as they practice independently to build confidence and mastery.
