About Priyanka
I am 20 years old who is undergoing a 4 year Bachelor's degree in Science with a major in the Biological Sciences. This degree encompasses Honours subjects/courses that give me work-integrated experience such as Laboratory research with professionals. This enables me to understand and explain theoretical concepts with real life situations thus assisting students to grasp the teaching context better.
I enjoy helping and guiding students, especially in subjects I am passionate about. Face-to-Face tutoring allows me to build a connection with students so they feel comfortable thereby learn to the best of their ability. Not only does it allow me to pass on my knowledge in an enjoyable manner, it also gives me the opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience.

Face-to-face teaching with students going through their subject guides ensuring they understand all concepts of the subject/course. Working through textbook and/or material given by main teacher/lecturer.
Working through the concepts that the student is struggling with as well as the relevant questions to apply the theory and ideas that arise during study. I may engage the student by asking my own questions and quizzing on the material covered in lesson. My knowledge of real life scenarios as studied in University can be useful when explaining a challenging concept to students. I also may employ the use of diagrams and flowcharts to visually aid in teaching.
