About Brice
Hi, I am Brice.
I have achieved 2017 VCE top scorers in Chinese first language. I have been teaching VCE Chinese for 3 years and 2 of my students also scored 40+ in Chinese as the second language. From 2022 to 2024, I studied at Waseda University in Japan for 2 years, so I could also provide lessons in Japanese.
As a Chinese native speaker, I enjoy sharing the wisdom of this ancient language. For example, how the Chinese characters were made, why they followed a rule of writing, and history stories behind the characters. Most importantly, I love teaching. Every time I see my students progress, I feel so proud of them which also makes me happy and satisfied.
I am looking forward to exploring the secret of the Chinese language with you.

The course will focus on Mandarin pronunciation and vocabulary comprehension. The lesson will emphasize how to use the language itself rather than merely remember boring vocabulary. Students could learn their way to speak Chinese confidently instead of remembering all the dialogue from textbooks.
For VCE students, I could provide detail study lessons, VCE writing and listening practice lessons for you. Also, as the VCE top scorer, I could provide VCE high score writing samples. Currently, the lesson can be provided in Mandarin, English, and Japanese in 1 hour. If you have specific requests for the lesson, I could always adjust the lesson for you.
