About Marilyn
I have been dancing professionally for 11 years. In 2017, I won 2nd place in the World Latin Dance Cup, held in Orlando, Florida, USA. The following year, in 2018, I placed 5th in the Professional category at the Salsa Summit with a ladies' team. That same year, I also achieved 3rd place in the Salsa Na Ma competition in Uruguay. Upon returning to Argentina in 2018, I began preparing couples for Bachata competitions. I also enhanced my teaching style and started offering workshops on lady styling. In 2020, I choreographed performances for shows, events, and various venues in the city of Mar del Plata. Since moving to Florida, I began teaching at UV Academy in 2023 and, as of 2024, I am an instructor of Salsa and Bachata at all levels. Currently, I work at Miami Baila Dance Studio in Little Havana, FL, as both an instructor and choreographer for Salsa and Bachata, catering to dancers of all levels.

focus on making the movements of your body and the timing of the music easy to understand. We learn how to count, work on hip movements, and develop a strong sense of musicality, which you can apply to your basic steps.
I teach turn techniques, shines (which are solo steps without a partner), posture, all foundational steps, and sequences of different steps, both solo and with a partner. You’ll also learn how to lead or follow.
I provide you with all the skills you need to improve your dance style, including exams to help you advance to the next level! I teach all levels—whether you're a beginner wanting to look good on the dance floor, or you're more advanced and need specific work to improve your skills.
If you want to perform but struggle with choreography, or if you’re preparing for a competition or show, I’ve got you covered! The pace of the classes will adapt to each student's progress.

Perfect! Excellent she's an expert in Mambo, Salsa, bachata. Taught me a lot of what I needed to know about timba, rumba, pachanga and the sub styles of Mambo I needed to learn. She also clarified my timing and tested my choreographies with me.

Marilyn is amazing. She is very talented and patient and knows how to make learning fun. She got me to spin and pull out some salsa moves. She can turn anybody into a prof.
