About Katarina
I am a graduate of London College of Music (BMus first class honours, MMus and FLCM distinction). I have been playing the violin for over 20 years now and I played many concerts around Europe and in USA (as a chamber and solo musician), I have participated in music festivals in Austria, Italy, Germany, France and USA and I have been taught by violin's leading professors.
As a composer, my pieces have been performed by many different musicians all around Europe, including LCM students, String Ensemble, piece The Sixth Element was premiered at the Gala Concert of Crescendo Music Festival in Florida, etc. My piece Tunisian Crochet won orchestral composition competition in early 2015 and was premiered by the LCM Camerata.
I taught students of all ages and backgrounds with main focus on classical repertoire but I'm happy to teach other genres, too. I'm available to teach individual and group lessons in violin, piano, composition and theory. I can enter students for graded examinations, work on specific goals, repertoire, technical issues, etc. or simply teach for personal enjoyment :)

My lessons are tailored according to the student's needs and goals. I believe every student can learn, just not at the same time, or the same way. The best approach to learn a valuable skill such as playing an instrument is to find a private teacher you can trust and feel inspired by.
