About Muhammad

I am an award-winning, qualified mathematics teacher and subject specialist with a Master's in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, a Mathematics PGCE from the UCL Institute of Education, and a MicroMasters in Data, Economics, and Design of Policy from MIT. Before dedicating myself to full-time private tuition, I taught at Eton College and Cambridge Education Group, and served as a teaching assistant for courses led by Nobel Laureates at MIT. I am a passionate and results-driven tutor specializing in Mathematics, Physics, Trigonometry, and Algebra, with a proven track record of helping students not only improve academically but also develop a deep, lasting understanding of these subjects. With years of teaching experience and a strong academic background, I’ve had the privilege of supporting students from various educational systems, age groups, and learning needs—from early secondary school learners to pre-university candidates and competitive exam aspirants. I bring a strategic and personalized approach to every lesson, drawing from both theory and application to make complex concepts intuitive and engaging. Whether I’m helping a student tackle Newton’s laws, master trigonometric identities, or strengthen their algebraic manipulation, my focus is always on nurturing clarity, confidence, and independent thinking. I have worked with students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, IB, SAT, ACT, and university entrance exams across UK, US, and international boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CIE, etc.). Many of my students have not only reached their target grades but have far exceeded them—earning offers from prestigious schools and universities, and winning scholarships and distinctions in national and international assessments. What sets my teaching apart is a commitment to conceptual learning and problem-solving skills. I don't just prepare students for the next test—I equip them to think logically, apply ideas in unfamiliar situations, and take ownership of their academic progress. I also work closely with families to design bespoke learning plans, track progress, and ensure that each student's evolving needs are met with precision. My teaching style blends academic rigor with genuine enthusiasm. I believe that Mathematics and Physics are not only intellectually enriching but profoundly beautiful subjects when taught with clarity and context. For many of my students, what began as a subject of struggle has transformed into a newfound interest or even a career direction. Beyond academics, I mentor students on broader academic and career goals. From choosing the right A-Level or IB subjects, to preparing for university applications and interviews, I provide structured guidance for those aiming to pursue STEM fields at top-tier institutions. My students regularly describe my teaching as clear, engaging, and motivating—backed by 5-star feedback and long-term partnerships with families who value high-quality, consistent support.

Many students find themselves struggling with Math, Physics, Trigonometry, or Algebra not due to a lack of potential, but because of foundational gaps that are often left unaddressed in traditional classrooms. These core misunderstandings may appear in early learning but only surface later when more advanced concepts build upon them. Whether a student is facing difficulty in solving algebraic equations, grasping trigonometric identities, or applying physical laws, the root cause frequently lies in shaky foundational knowledge. My approach is built around identifying and closing these gaps. Every new student begins with a diagnostic phase where we uncover hidden weaknesses and tailor a lesson plan accordingly. I ensure each student develops a rock-solid understanding of core principles before moving into deeper, more complex areas. This ensures lasting comprehension and improved academic performance. As a specialist in Mathematics, Physics, Trigonometry, and Algebra, my lessons focus on fostering analytical thinking and conceptual clarity. I emphasize the “why” behind every topic—why a formula works, why a physical law applies, and why a certain problem-solving technique is more effective than another. This not only helps students excel in exams but also builds intellectual confidence and curiosity. My sessions are highly interactive. Rather than lecturing, I guide students through problem-solving processes using carefully chosen questions that lead them to key insights. This Socratic method encourages students to think critically, identify their own misconceptions, and take ownership of their learning journey. Every lesson is structured to progressively challenge the student while maintaining an encouraging and supportive environment. Students are exposed to: _Topic-specific drills to solidify understanding _Past paper questions and exam techniques to boost performance _Real-world applications of Physics and Math to keep lessons engaging _Visual and conceptual breakdowns for abstract topics like vectors, motion, or identities _Each session includes detailed feedback, and for long-term students, I provide a personalized study roadmap. I also work closely with families to track progress and suggest strategies for continuous growth. _Tutoring Experience I offer a dedicated tutoring service in Math, Physics, Trigonometry, and Algebra for students across various academic levels, from secondary school to university entrance exams. My experience includes: _Years of private tutoring to GCSE, A-Level, IB, SAT, and university-level students _Helping students improve grades from C/D to A/A* in core subjects _Coaching students for competitive exams and university entrance tests (e.g., SAT, ACT, BMAT, MAT, etc.) Assisting with international curriculum (Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CIE, IB, AP) for a global clientele Supporting students in conceptual topics like calculus, kinematics, circuits, and trigonometric proofs I work with a limited number of students to ensure high attention to each learner. Every student receives tailored learning materials, revision schedules, and practice sets. My service includes optional weekly reports and milestone tracking for long-term improvement.
