About Robert
I'm Robert Murphy, pro cinematographer (13 features), editor (7 features), and director based in Los Angeles and an expert on bringing top-notch production values and a personal touch to a wide variety of videos and films. I was the DP and supporting actor for “In Search of a Midnight Kiss,” which won the John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award for best feature film under $500,000. I was the DP and editor for the feature film “9 Full Moons,” which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival and is available on iTunes. I was also the DP and editor for the feature film “Carlos Spills the Beans,” which premiered at the Raindance Film Festival and is available on Amazon Prime. I recently shot the feature film "Peridot," which is being released in North America and the UK on October 4th.

These lessons are for anyone from beginners to advanced filmmakers and actors who want to know more.
I've worked with such award-winning directors as Alex Holdridge and Brian McGuire, and I've worked with such actors as Scoot McNairy, Amy Seimetz, Reza Safai, Rupert Friend, and Tom Arnold.
