About Holly
I have been tutoring individual students for five years now from ages 8 to 18. This has included a variety of things from piano to academic revision techniques.
I have helped a lot of my tutees to successfully achieve their required goals, as we discuss this and set out a mutual plan. The aim is to address what the student wants the outcome of our lessons to be, even if it is as simple as just passing their exam. I will always endeavour them to find their bespoke learning techniques and help them find what works for them, rather than expecting students to adapt to me and my style of learning/teaching.

I am a previous student of Linguistics, Literature and Spanish. I am offering lessons to students from Primary to A-Level, and will also accept adult learners of English. I have several years experience tutoring 8 - 18 year old students on a variety of different matters.
I offer private tuition one-on-one or groups if applicable. I am here to help you, so our lessons will focus on your goals and what you wish to achieve with my help. The methods I use will be adapted to suit your individual learning needs. Teaching itself is not simply standing at the front of a room full of prospective students and talking; it is constrained and influenced by the learner.
I will always strive to establish a healthy, safe, informative, learning environment for my students. Expectations can never be too high, and is it the duty of the tutor to help students realise their ability to achieve and excel.
