About Florin
Industry expert in Structural Engineering with excellent understanding of Design and Presentation techniques, civil and industrial design in aluminium and steel structures used in curtain walls and skylights. Mainly focused on detailed engineering of 3D models and/or 2D drawings of physical components, but also throughout the engineering process from conceptual design and layout of products, through strength and dynamic analysis of assemblies to definition of manufacturing methods of components/alucobond cladding composite materials.
Comprehensive knowledge of CAD techniques using a variety of software, as well as strong math and physics skills.
Perform structural analyses and calculations using industry software; such as MathCAD, Logikal, SchuCAL.
Utilise CADD softwares (AutoCAD and/or Microstation) to create structural engineering plans .
Read, interpret, and apply codes and standards to structural design.
Exercise judgment required in developing plans or alternatives.
Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities, as required .
Review construction submittals for conformance to contract and design documents .
Perform the routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of engineering principles .
Demonstrate time management and organisational skills .
Possess high ethical values and strong sense of commitment to self-development, team work, and desire to work in a deadline driven team environment.
Ensure smooth business operations by following projects from conceptualising phase to completion, including system design, incorporation of customer needs, and technical support.
